The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.

Logan and I have always been big on traveling, I feel like adventuring is just a part of who we are at this point. So far we have been as far as Daytona Beach, but that isn’t far enough for us. We’ve discussed it endlessly at this point, and that itch always comes back to us that we need to go somewhere new, try something new, and expand our knowledge on the world.
We have a goal of visiting all 50 states and truly experiencing each one, we want to see the iconic spots but we feel like there is so much more than that though. We know from first hand experience that some of the smallest hole-in-the-wall places are the best for authenticity. Being able to spend as much time as we want in each place to experience all we want to has always been the hardest part. The time limit set on it by how many PTO days we can afford to use is something that has always haunted us.
So Why Did We Choose an RV?
We have been trying to figure out which direction we want to go in life, we’ve looked at houses, been staying in and looking at apartments, and doing a ton of research on what we want. After a ton of discussion we decided our love for travel is much more important than settling down, afterall we do have our whole lives ahead of us and we want to live life to the fullest while we still can and we feel like being stuck in one place hinders us. Due to all of that, we have decided RVing will be our best bet at living the life full of travel and experiences we so desperately want.
After looking around for ages, Logan and I have decided that a fifth wheel would fit our lifestyle best. The only thing we are having issues with is deciding which fifth wheel is for us, there are so many options! Front living, rear living, front kitchen, toy hauler, the list goes on and on. We are leaning towards toy hauler just because that way we can each have a motorcycle we can use to get around on top of the truck. The only issue with toy haulers is the garage length really takes away from living space, and to me that is more important. We also have a max length of 45 ft, we feel like that is even a little excessive but we do have a very different lifestyle compared to some people, and having garage and living space is super important for us. We plan on also keeping my car, so having a fully stocked mechanics shop (I’m exaggerating but Logan does have a TON of tools) we travel with is important to take care of all of our toys.
We are going to be finalizing our decision on what we want to get soon, and purchasing around May of 2026! We will write an article all about our decision and introduce you to our rig!
